Detroit vs. Everyone

...that´s how our day 4 in Detroit began....a mtg with Tommey Walker the man behind the whole idea of Detroit vs Everyone....he talked to us about what inspired him to create the label and why he is determined to show the wonderful city of Detroit in a different light and from a different perspective.

The day continued at the covenant house for our second workshop with young people who are currently residing there. We were able to bring in recording equipment and finsih an entire song with our workshop participants...currently it´s back to writing, creating and collaborating...this is the exciting part of the project....watch this space!

...so began unser vierter Tag in Detroit...ein mtg. mit Tommey Walker, dem Mann hinter Detroit vs. Everyone...er sprach mit uns darüber was ihn inspirierte das Mode Label zu gründen und warum er besessen davon ist diese wunderbare Stadt Detroit in einem anderen Licht und aus einer anderen Perspektive zu zeigen.

Der Tag ging dann im Covenant House und mit unserem zweiten Workshop dort weiter. Wir waren in der Lage Equipment mit in die Einrichtung zu bringen und so einen ganzen Song mit den Jugendlichen dort aufzunehmen....nun sind wir zurück und wieder damit beschäftigt zu schreiben, zu kreieren und zu kollaborieren...dies ist der aufregendste Teil von #Be-troit...watch this space!
